Finding a reliable contractor in the Fraser Valley shouldn’t feel like a gamble. But for most homeowners, that’s exactly what it is — scrolling through online listings with no way to know who’s actually licensed, who shows up on time, and who does quality work at a fair price.
We started HomeServicesMatcher because we’ve been on the other side of that frustration. After more than 15 years of living in the Fraser Valley and owning property here, we’ve had our share of contractor experiences — some great, some not so great. We’ve dealt with the no-shows, the vague quotes, and the “I’ll get back to you” that never comes. And we’ve also found those rare pros who do exceptional work and treat your home like it’s their own.
We built this platform to make it easier for Fraser Valley homeowners to find those good ones — and to give honest, hardworking local contractors a better way to connect with people who need their help.
Who We Are
HomeServicesMatcher is a locally owned and operated platform based right here in Maple Ridge, BC. Our founder has called the Fraser Valley home for over 15 years, and his family’s roots in Maple Ridge go back generations — born and raised in this community.
That local connection matters. We know what it’s like to deal with aging pipes in a Hammond character home, or to need emergency tree removal after a November windstorm, or to wonder whether your Silver Valley property’s drainage is handling another week of rain. We understand the specific challenges that come with owning a home in this part of BC because we live them too.
This isn’t a faceless national directory run from a corporate office somewhere. It’s a platform built by a Fraser Valley homeowner, for Fraser Valley homeowners.
What We Do
HomeServicesMatcher connects homeowners across Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Langley, and Mission with trusted local contractors for every home service need — from HVAC and roofing to plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and more.
We also provide in-depth local guides covering everything a homeowner in our area needs to know: real cost data for common projects, neighbourhood breakdowns, seasonal maintenance advice, and real estate insights specific to the Fraser Valley market.
Our goal is simple: be the one resource a Fraser Valley homeowner can turn to for honest, local, useful information — whether you’re looking for a contractor, researching a renovation, thinking about selling your home, or just trying to figure out what that noise in your furnace means.
What We Believe
Local knowledge beats generic advice. A roofing guide written for Arizona isn’t useful in Maple Ridge. Everything on this site is written specifically for homeowners in our communities, factoring in our climate, our building codes, our pricing, and our local market.
Transparency builds trust. We publish real cost ranges, honest neighbourhood assessments, and straightforward contractor information. No inflated claims, no sponsored rankings, no hidden agendas.
Good contractors deserve visibility. There are excellent tradespeople across the Fraser Valley who rely on word of mouth and don’t have the time or budget for flashy marketing. We want to help them get in front of homeowners who need their services.

We currently serve four Fraser Valley communities, with plans to expand across the Lower Mainland:
- Maple Ridge — One of the fastest-growing cities in the Fraser Valley. From the character homes of Hammond to the new builds of Albion and Silver Valley, Maple Ridge is where we call home.
- Pitt Meadows — A small-town community with incredible value. Quiet streets, strong schools, and easy access to the Golden Ears Bridge.
- Langley — Township and City combined, Langley offers everything from rural acreages to urban condos with one of the strongest real estate markets in the region.
- Mission — Mountain living at a price point that’s hard to beat in Metro Vancouver. A growing community with strong potential for homeowners and investors alike.
